OZONE SAUNA

WHAT IS OZONE SAUNA THERAPY?

Ozone sauna therapy is the combination of sauna and ozone gas. During an ozone sauna you sit in a sauna box which induces sweating and into which ozone is introduced at the same time. It’s important that the sauna allows for the head to stick out to prevent you from inhaling the ozone gas.

It is assumed that when the wet and warm skin is exposed to ozone gas beneficial peroxides and lipid oxidation by-products are created which have an anti-inflammatory and immune boosting effects.

HOW DOES OZONE THERAPY WORK?

The Ozone Sauna facilitates transdermal absorption of 03 by utilizing steam to effectively open pores in the skin, the body’s largest waste elimination organ.

03 molecules destroy pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and fungi on the surface of the patient’s skin. 03 effectively penetrates the skin to react with toxins and pathogens found in blood, lymph fluid, and other body tissues. Various toxins, oils, and other compounds become ozonated during treatment, allowing for a prolonged effect even after the completion of therapy within the sauna.

In addition to the detoxifying effects of ozone, tissues become more oxygenated, less inflamed, and generally more healthy. While the therapy does not acutely treat or cure any single disease, it effectively cleanses many body systems, restoring your body’s ability to fight disease naturally.

Due to Ozone’s unique wide spectrum of beneficial effects, individuals with both acute and chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and Lyme benefit from conditioning with 03 sauna therapy.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE TREATMENT?

While seated comfortably within the sauna, the body below the head is surrounded by warm, medical grade, ozonated steam. As the body warms, the sweat glands and pores open. This allows toxins to be released, allowing ozone and its derivatives to neutralize them. The oils within the skin and on its surface become ozonated and enter the body for a prolonged ozone benefit. The steam temperature, ozone concentration, and duration of treatment are all adjustable for individualized comfort.

The unit is filled with cotton towels to help absorb sweat and toxins that can sometimes be seen on the towels.

Sessions last up to 45 minutes. Afterwards the skin is patted dry. Showering is to be avoided for 2-3 hours for full effect.

HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT LAST?

A treatment in the ozone  lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.
